Being Distracted - Need to Succeed

Trying to work from home is really hard. I become distracted a lot of times with other things which causes me to lose time with my business.

If you have to become very focused on your work and put on blinders to all other outside influences. I get distracted by my dog some times and have to stop. But I try really to go right back to what I am working on. The only way to succeed is to keep pushing ahead. This is hard for me some times because I get loss in thoughts of my son that I just lost. But then I try to focus on that he would want me to succeed and that "quitting is not an option".

The company I am working with have many inspirational ideas, helpful benefits and a lot of support. I am new at this but they seem to care to help you succeed and not fail. They offer training calls and material to get you on the right track.

I hope my insight on being distracted will help inspire someone else to try to succeed.

New Week - May 26

Hope all had a great Memorial Day Weekend. Now time to start a new work week. My last blog was about starting a work at home business.

It is a scary thought trying to start a home business. I, like most, have hesitated and been unsure where to start. Well you have to jump right in and find a business that you will like and get your feet wet. There are many businesses on the web and a lot are scams. But if you research very closely, you will find a perfect match for you.

I have found a business that fits today's economy and a lot of people's needs. Many Americans are unemployed and are looking for ways to survive. The business that I am working with offers not only work at home option but also offers a discounted program for health needs. Many unemployed have lost their health benefits and need an alternative way to take care of their health until they can find a job or health insurance. The company that I am starting with offers discounted options at a very good price.

Tomorrow I will try to give information but let me know your thoughts on this situation that our country has gotten into regarding health care.

Today's Lesson - Starting a New Business

I started looking for work over a year ago but due to this economy and my location I have been unable to find a job. Also being a female at the age of 57 has not been much of advantage either. So I started looking into working at home. As most of you know there are a lot of scams out there especially now and believe me I have hit my share.

But about a month ago I came across an opportunity that sounded legit. After coming up against so many scams, I learned that you have to do a lot of research before diving in. So I did.

My suggestion to anyone looking for working at home, when you find a business that may interest you be sure to research it very closely. Google search it by name, check out Better Business Bureau, read as many articles on it, and also check out its benefits. No "get rich business" is legit and you should stay away from them. You have to work at it just like a 8 to 5 job to succeed.

Also beware of "businesses" that ask for large amounts of money in turn of making you rich in a matter of hours or days. Yes, you do have to contribute some money to start a business but you also have to work at it every day. You will not get rich over night as some will propose.

I hope my little incite in today's lesson will be helpful to some one as I also had to learn the hard way.

See you on the flip side.
