Happy Father's Day

Just wanted to send all the fathers a very Happy Father's Day. My father died in 1987 and still miss him to this day. Our parents are very important people in our lives and mine were the greatest. My father taught me to be a very moral person and try to live by his teachings. We were a farming family and my father worked very hard every day. He told us that when he was a little boy he did not have much and worked very hard as a father to make sure that his children had every opportunity that he did not have. He sent us all to college to try to help all of us improve our lives. In this economy today, the things that my father told me about during the depression has helped me to survive today and his teachings meant the world to me.

So please cherish your father if you have him and if not, always remember him on this day and every day.

Do You Know How to Advertise?

I am learning how to advertise my work from home business. Did you know that there are many free ways to advertise your business and get traffic to your website? In setting up your own work at home business, you can advertise on blogs, chat lines, and even place ads in magazines and papers for free.

I have been researching and learning how to set up these free ads and blogs. Blogging is a lot of fun and also very helpful, like on this blog. Chat lines are good but very careful of which chat room you get into, good source such as AOL, Yahoo, Google and many more. Placing ads on magazines and papers is very easy, search on line for free advertising and you will find many sources.

Struggling Along

As I mentioned in my profile, I lost my son 2 months ago. He was killed in the line of duty and it still feels like a nightmare. I am trying to use this tragedy as an inspiration to me to do what I have always dreamed of, working from home, but it has been hard.

I am still in the training process but it becomes frustrating at times when you don't know where to turn. I am learning that you have to really put your nose to the ground and work hard if you want to succeed. Don't fool yourself that it is a "breeze" doing work at home on the internet because it is not. You really have to apply yourself or you will go nowhere and that is what I am finding out.

So if you want to start an at home business, you really have to be dedicated or you are wasting your time.

Really Worked at Home Today

I really worked at home today. I planted 3 flower bushes and started trimming my shrubbery in my back yard. That is what you call "really working at home". When you are single, you learn to do a lot of things yourself and I have definitely learned to do them.

Of course I love working in my yard and that is one of the reasons I have started an at home business. With this business I can stay home and do all the things I did not have time to do when I was working an 8 to 5 full time job. Always at the beckoning call of someone else and never able to control my own life. The company I am working for has great benefits and enables me to stay at home, make money and do all the things that I love to do when I did not have time to do them before. The great thing about the business I am starting is that I control my time, set my schedule and I am my own boss.
