- I am a "Work at Home" business owner. I started this business with a wonderful company. I have been unemployed for over a year and have applied to many jobs. But unfortunately due to this economy and my "age" I have been unsuccessful. I recently loss my son, who was killed in the line of duty. He was a Detective with the local Sheriff's Department. I have found a new vision and strength from this loss and my motto now is "Quitting is not an option".
I am so touched by this sad story. I am very sorry for your loss. I will say a prayer.

So sorry for you and your family I was thinking of a Dare County officer that was all so killed about the same time. I pray for the all the familys of fallen Officers.
